Christmas Minced Fruit with Spiced Custard

2 cups of Minced Pie Filling 

2 cups spiced custard

1 ½ cup orange, peeled and cut into small pieces

6 glass jars with lids (8 oz)

 

Minced Pie Filing

400g mixed dried fruit (raisins, sultanas, currants, dates)

1 apple, peeled, cored and coarsely grated

4 tbls brandy (optional)

80g orange marmalade

75g brown sugar

25g kithul honey

1 tsp MA’s Mixed Spice

1 tsp MA’s Cinnamon Powder Or MA’s Organic Cinnamon Powder

50g almonds, finely chopped (optional)

 

Step 1

Mix together all ingredients and cover with a plastic wrap. Place in the fridge

Step 2

Put aside for 2 days, mixing twice a day.
