Pulled Polos

 
A delicious vegetarian dish with full flavour from Dad's Garden Korean BBQ Sauce
 
Ingredients
6 pita breads 
3 cups of Polos 
1 tbs 
oil 
1 onion, sliced 
¼ cup water 
Sticky Korean BBQ Marinade  
¼ cup Honey  
2 tsp MA’s Kitchen Garlic Paste or chopped garlic   
 
 
Instructions 
Step 01
Boil the polos in slightly salted water until it's tender- but not fully cooked. Drain.
Step 02
In a pan add the polos, marinade and water.  
Step 03
Allow it to simmer until the sauce reduces and the polos can easily be pulled apart and not firm.  
Step 04
Fill pita bread with the pulled polos and serve with choice of vegetables.   
 
Pro Tips 
  • Tastes great with spiced rice
  • For extra spice, add a tsp of chilli powder.
