We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced salesperson to take on the role of Area Sales Manager in the Gampaha Region. 
 

He will be responsible for the following:
·         Demonstrated leadership ability to manage, guide and motivate a Sales Team
·         Strong capability in developing and maintaining effective customer relationships within the territory
·         Proven experience in appointing and recruiting, managing and developing distributors and Sales Representatives to achieve sales growth
·         Execution of Trade and consumer marketing initiatives to drive market penetration
 

The ideal candidate :
·         Prior experience in a similar role in a reputed FMCG organisation will be an added advantage
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Strong interpersonal, negotiation and decision-making skills
·         8+ years’ experience in FMCG
·         Age below 35 years

Will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our networks, and end-user systems, while also supporting management in planning, vendor coordination, and rolling out new initiatives. This is a dual role, part technical owner, part emerging leader, ideal for someone ready to step up from a pure sysadmin position into a management track.

Key Responsibilities,

• Manage LAN/WAN, firewalls, Wi-Fi and CCTV systems across all company locations.
• Oversee ERP, DMS, and other systems in coordination with vendors and end users.
• Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, help set up and maintain user equipment.
• Monitor cybersecurity, enforce IT policies, and ensure data backup and disaster recovery readiness.
• Provide IT support and mentor junior staff.
• Assist with IT budgeting, asset management, and procurement.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or industry certifications 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• 5+ years of hands-on system and network administration experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or export-oriented industries.
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles
• Experience with common operating systems and hardware platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• A working knowledge of ERP systems, DMS (Distributor Management System) and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Willingness to be on-call when needed, and the people skills to work across the shop floor and the boardroom.
