Savory Bread Pudding
2 tbsp. butter
1 large onion, sliced
300g sausages, sliced
1 sandwich bread, crusts removed and cubed
200g grated cheese
2 tomatoes, cubed
4 eggs
2 tsp Pasta Roma Pasta Sauce
1 cup milk
1 cup cream
Salt to taste
Step 1
Heat butter in a pan and cook the sausages and onions.
Step 2
In a bowl mix together the bread, cheese, tomatoes and sausage mixture.
Step 3
Spread into an ovenproof dish
Step 4
In a separate bowl beat together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, pasta sauce & cream,
Pour evenly over the bread mixture.
Step 5
Place in a 180°C preheated oven and bake until golden brown.
