Easy Seeni Sambol

250g onions, sliced
3 tbsp. oil
1 1/2 tbls MA's Chilli Pieces 
25g curry leaves
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp.  Sugar
2 tbsp. water
Optional – Everyone has a personal taste preference so based on your favorite add none, 1 or all of the following:
2 MA’s Cardamom
2 MA’s Clove
1 piece MA’s Cinnamon stick

Step 1

Mix MA’s Chilli Pieces , onions and salt together in a bowl and put aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves and choice of additional spices.

Step 3

Add mixture from step 1, sugar and water to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the onion is cooked through. Keep stirring to prevent burning.

Step 4

Add extra sugar and salt to taste. Tamarind can also be added at the end to adjust to preferred taste.
