Bombay Biriyani

450g basmati rice
100ml oil
2 onions,thinly sliced
3 tomatoes 
35g MA’s Bombay Biriyani Masala
500g chicken with bones,cubed
1 potato, peeled & cubed
1 tsp MA’s Garlic Paste
1 tsp MA’s Ginger Paste
120g curd
1 cup water
 

Step 1

Cook the rice until it is cooked ¾ of the way through. Drain water and keep aside.

Step 2

Meanwhile, fry onions in oil until golden. Add tomatoes and fry further.

Step 3

Add all the bombay biriyani masala, chicken, potato, curd, garlic and onion and sauté for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Add 1 cup of water, cover and cook over a low heat until chicken is cooked through.

Step 5

In a rice cooker or a pan, layer half of the cooked rice and pour over the chicken mixture, top with remaining rice. Cover and cook on low heat until rice is fully cooked.

Step 5

Once cooked, mix and serve garnished with coriander.
