Creme Caramel


1 cup MA’s Organic Brown Sugar

75ml water



200ml MA’s Coconut Milk

500ml milk

5 eggs

1/2 cup sugar

Rind and juice of 1 lime

Step 1

Preheat oven to 150c.

Step 2

Heat sugar and water in a heavy bottom pan until sugar caramelized and comes into a darker color. The caramel should be thick.

Step 3

Pour caramelized sugar into greased ramekins.

Step 4

Whisk together all other ingredients and strain the mixer through the sieve.

Step 5

Now carefully pour the custard mixture into the ramekins.

Step 6

Place ramekins on a tray with water reaching halfway up the side of dish.

Step 7

Cook in the oven until custard is set about 30-40 minutes.

Step 8

Remove Ramekins and allow to set for 1 hour before turning out.
