Peanut Butter Chocolate Tart

Steps:

250g biscuits (shortie, marie or digestive biscuits are best)

90g butter

1 ½  tbls golden syrup

100g dark cooking chocolate

100g milk cooking chocolate

1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

200ml cream

4 tbl New Beginnings No added Sugar Peanut Butter

 

Steps:

  1. Crush the biscuits into small pieces, slightly larger than the breadcrumb texture.
  2. Melt the butter and golden syrup and mix with the biscuits.
  3. Press into the bottom of a tray and around the sides, place in the refrigerator until the mixture is firm.
  4. Whip the cream with the vanilla until peaks form.
  5. Melt the chocolate and allow it to cool slightly then fold in the cream.
  6. Take the peanut butter and spread it over the base of the tart mixture.
  7. Layer the chocolate cream mixture over the peanut butter and place it into the refrigerator until it is ready to be served. Best to wait at least 2 hours.

This is very rich, only a small serving is needed.
