The delicious sweet and savoury combination of Pasta Roma pasta sauce and Dad’s Garden Mango BBQ sauce make a perfect foundation for a BBQ pizza. Pasta sauce is not just for pasta!
1 Premade plain pizza base
(or you can use this recipe to make your own)
2 tbs Pasta Roma Herb Pasta Sauce
2 tbs Dad’s Garden Mango BBQ Sauce
1 Cup grated New Beginnings Cheese
1 Onion, sliced
300g Sausage, sliced or cooked chicken minced
½ Green bell pepper, sliced
In a small bowl, mix Pasta Roma Herb Pasta Sauce with Dad's Garden Mango BBQ Sauce. Spread evenly on the pizza base.
Top with half the grated New Beginnings Cheese, minced chicken/ sausage, onion and bell pepper
Top with remained of grated cheese and place on a tray.
Place in a 200oC preheated oven for 7- 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown. If you have used uncooked pizza base, you will have to cook it for a further 3-5 minutes depending on how thick you have made the base.
Be adventurous and add your own combinations of toppings, just remember the more toppings the longer the pizza will take to cook.
