Hot Butter Mushrooms

Indulge in the ultimate sensory experience with our Hot Butter Mushrooms. Crispy on the outside, bursting with flavour on the inside, this dish is a must-try. 
 
Ingredients
2 tbsp corn flour 
2 tbsp rice flour 
Salt and pepper for seasoning  
200g mushrooms (oyster)  
2 eggs, beaten  
Oil for deep-frying 
130g salted butter 
2 tbsp Happy Home Chinese Chilli Paste 
1 tbsp Dad’s Garden Teriyaki sauce 
2 tsp sugar 
1 tsp MA’s Kitchen Garlic Paste 
Green onions, chopped onion rings, and chopped dried chillies for garnish 
 
Instructions 
Step 1
In a bowl, combine corn flour, rice flour, salt, and pepper. Beat eggs in a separate bowl. Dip mushrooms in beaten eggs, then coat evenly with the flour mixture. Shake off excess flour. 
Step 2
Deep-fry mushrooms in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil. 
Step 3
Melt butter in a pan. Add Happy Home Chinese Chilli Paste, Dad’s Garden Teriyaki sauce, sugar, and MA’s Kitchen Garlic Paste. Sauté for 2 minutes until combined. 
Step 4
Toss the fried mushrooms in the prepared sauce until evenly coated. Garnish with green onions, chopped onion rings, and chopped dried chillies. Serve immediately while hot and crispy. 
 
Tips 
For extra spice, add more chilli paste or MA’s Kitchen Chilli Pieces. 
Serve as a side dish with fried rice or noodles or as a bite.
