Campaign Period
The MA's Kitchen Biryani Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") is a campaign promoting Biryani products. The campaign is valid from July 15th, 2024, to August 31st, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition Period"). Participation is only considered within this period.
Eligibility
The competition is open to all Sri Lankan citizens over 18 years old, except for employees and family members of employees at MA's Tropical Food Processing (Pvt) Ltd or its associates.
Mechanism of the Competition
Anyone who purchases a qualifying MA's Biryani product (50g Biryani Masala, 50g Biryani Paste, or 35g Bombay Biriyani Masala) from a participating retail outlet is eligible to enter.
Participants may enter by using the online link provided via the Tharuni and Sirikatha Sinhala tabloids and poster displayed at grocery shops around the Island, Sri Lanka.
You can enter multiple times by clicking the website link and responding to the question about MA's Biriyani products.
Winner Selection and Prizes
Winners will be selected through a raffle draw held at the MA's headoffice. The draw will be witnessed by the CEO of MA's Kitchen, and the Associate Brand Executive Manager in the Marketing Department.
"One winner will be selected from the entries responded to the question and winner will receive one year worth of Biriyani Seasonings and a rice cooker.
Finally, three more winners will each recieve three gift packs. "
Winners will be notified via email, SMS, or phone call during the first week of August. Winners must collect their prize at the Goumet retail shop in Borella, Colomo 08.
MA's Kitchen reserves the right to use winners' images for promotional purposes.
Unreachable Winners and Claiming Prizes
If a winner from the first raffle draw cannot be reached within a week, another winner will be drawn. Similarly, if a winner cannot meet any eligibility criteria, another winner will be selected.
For any issues regarding claiming prizes or defective prizes, please contact MA's Tropical Food Processing (Pvt) Ltd at 0117602200. Prize winners are responsible for contacting the prize supplier directly for warranty claims or defects. MA's Kitchen is not liable for any prize-related defects, claims, losses, or damages.
MA's Kitchen is not responsible for any complaints due to negligence or acts of omission by the prize winners.
a) MA's Kitchen's decision on selecting the winner is final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. (Winners will be chosen through a raffle draw.)
b) Prizes are subject to verification by MA's Kitchen using basic audit standards to ensure legitimacy. MA's Kitchen has the right to disqualify any winner deemed illegitimate. If a winner cannot be verified, contacted, or redeem their prize, MA's Kitchen may award the prize to another participant without notice.
c) If a participant is not contacted or declared a winner, it means their entry was not chosen.
d) Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
e) By participating, winners grant MA's Kitchen permission to use their names, photos, voices, entries, and other relevant details for publicity, editing, presentation, brand study, market research, advertising, and/or trade without further approval, compensation, or notice for an unlimited period.
f) MA's Kitchen will not provide any compensation for using entries received for the campaign.
g) MA's Kitchen reserves the right to reject, delete, or remove any entry without reason. Any such decision is final and binding.
h) Failure to adhere to the above terms gives MA's Kitchen the right to disqualify your entry.
i) MA's Kitchen reserves the right to withdraw, change, defer, alter, or cancel this campaign entirely or in part, or change any terms and conditions without prior notice. MA's Kitchen will not be liable for any consequential losses/damages. Any decision made by MA's Kitchen regarding the campaign and its terms and conditions is final and binding.
j) MA's Kitchen shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to acts of God, government actions, or other force majeure circumstances. They will not be obligated to pay any compensation for such losses.
Entries received after August 31st, 2024, will be rejected.
