Fragrant Pilaf Rice

450g basmati rice
1 onion, finely chopped n fried
1 tbsp. butter, plus extra to serve
4 MA’s Cardamom
8 MA’s Cloves
1 MA’s Cinnamon Stick, cut in half
1 tsp MA’s chicken stock Powder
Cashew and sultana
Salt to taste

Step 1

Wash the rice.

Step 2

Heat butter in a pan and spices, 1/2 the cashews, sulthana & saute for few minutes.

Step 3

Add rice & stir until grains are coated well and add the chicken stock and adjust salt.

Step 4

Add enough water to cook the rice, and cook until tender.

Step 5

Stir through extra butter and sprinkle fried onions & cashew before serving.
