Roasted Sesame Oil

Sesame Oil, with its distinct flavour, is traditionally used in Chinese, Japanese, Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. The nutty flavour is brought out by roasting the seeds and is a flavour many of us are very familiar with. The oil is ideal for stir-frying and sautéing or as an ingredient in Asian style salad dressings. New Beginnings Roasted Sesame oil is produced in lyakkachchi, Northern Sri Lanka, using sesame grown by the small farmer communities of the region.
