Ingredients

  • 500g rice
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 25g MA'S Fried Rice Seasoning (half the pack)
  • 50g shredded cabbage
  • 50g carrots (grated or shredded)
  • 50g chopped leeks
  • 50g chopped onion
  • 50g chopped spring onions
  • 3 tbsp Dad's Garden Teriyaki Sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil

Cooking Steps

  1. Cook the rice ahead of time and allow it to cool completely (cold; day-old rice works best).
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beaten eggs and scramble lightly until soft set.
  3. Add the cabbage, carrots, leeks, and onions to the pan—Stir-fry over high heat for about 1 minute until fragrant yet crisp.
  4. Add the cold cooked rice to the pan and toss vigorously over high heat, breaking up any clumps.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together MA'S Fried Rice Seasoning and Dad's Garden Teriyaki Sauce. Pour the mixture evenly over the rice and toss thoroughly until every grain is coated.
  6. Turn off the heat, drizzle with sesame oil, and fold in the fresh spring onions. Mix well and serve hot!
